電工鋼硅鋼片1961~1994年主要是高磁感取向硅鋼（Hi-B）的發(fā)展階段。1953年，日本新日鐵公司田中悟等證明以AIN為主要抑制劑和一次大壓下率冷軋工藝方案有可能制成更高磁性的取向硅鋼。1961年在引進(jìn)Armco 基礎(chǔ)上，首先試制AlN＋MnS綜合抑制劑的高磁感取向硅鋼。1964年開始生產(chǎn)并命名為Hi-B，但磁性不穩(wěn)定。自1968年新日鐵公司開發(fā)高磁感取向硅鋼產(chǎn)品后，日本冷軋電工鋼在產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量、廣東江門制造技術(shù)和設(shè)備、廣東江門新技術(shù)開發(fā)、廣東江門實(shí)驗(yàn)研究及測(cè)試技術(shù)等方面都已超過美國，在世界上處于 領(lǐng)先地位。

電工鋼硅鋼片半有機(jī)無鉻薄涂層K H4 C-5 EC-5-P C-6涂層通常以磷酸鹽無機(jī)成分為主，添加少量有機(jī)成分，不含有鉻元素，杜絕了用戶退火、廣東江門本地發(fā)藍(lán)和使用過程中發(fā)生六價(jià)鉻含量超標(biāo)的可能性，性、廣東江門本地環(huán)保性 。性能基本接近A 涂層，絕緣性好，沖片性好，在中性氣氛或弱還原性爐子氣氛中，可承受的應(yīng)力退火溫度一般可達(dá)800℃，在退火時(shí)，層間電阻會(huì)有一定降低。半有機(jī)無鉻厚涂層M --- C-5 EC-5-P C-6涂層基本情況和 K 涂層類似，膜厚增加，絕緣性更好，耐蝕性更好，沖片性也更好，焊接性略差。
