軟管泵主要有泵殼、轉子體、減速機、機座和軟管等5大部分組成。泵的耐久性主要決定于管子的彈性和耐腐蝕性，其流量與電動機的轉速和管子內徑大小有關。

1、使用軟管泵時調壓板請不要擰得太緊，以免“扎死”泵頭，一般調到有液體流出即可，以延長其使用壽命。
2、泵頭在快速運轉中，切勿按動“順/逆”開關，若要按動，則先將速度調慢后再按動，然后再將速度調至原來速度，即將電壓表讀數調至原來值。
3、軟管泵在使用期間，應隨時注意軟管是否完好，一般在中速情況下運轉為佳，當發現軟管使用老化時，應及時更換軟管。
4、使用完畢要將泵頭清洗干凈，若長時間不使用，應取下軟管，以延長其使用壽命。
5、軟管泵長期不用時，請把軟管從泵頭中取出，延長其使用壽命。軟管是易損物品，使用一段時間后請及時更換。不然會造成漏液，損壞儀器！
6、根據不同介質和不同流量，請選用不同粗細的軟管。
